Please be sure to have a Phillips and Flat head screwdriver available to disassemble the product.
Be sure the product is unplugged then lay the fan face down on a flat stable surface. The rear grill should be facing you.
Locate and remove the 6 screws along the outer edge of the back grill (between the spokes). The screws will either be 6 Phillips screws or 6-Point Star Screws. (If there are 6-Point Star Screws, the tool needed to remove them is a T20 TORX Screwdriver/bit with Safety which can be found through Home Depot and/or Lowes)
Turn the fan over so the front of the fan is facing you. Place a Flat head screwdriver into the small gap between the front and rear grills (where its two different consistencies in plastic). Gently push down and pull the front grill towards you, exposing the fan blade.
Wipe the blade with a soft damp cloth. Use a mild detergent if necessary. Be very careful that no water comes into contact with the motor. This will damage the motor and the fan will become inoperable. After cleaning, reassemble the fan. Your fan will now be ready for operation.
