If the fan is not showing on the Bluetooth app, it is possible that a step or two were likely missed in the setup process. This article will walk you through the process.
- First of all, make sure the fan is plugged in.
- Next, make sure you have downloaded the Lasko Connect app from the Google Play or Apple App Store.
- Before opening the app, please be sure to turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
- So now the phone has Bluetooth on, the fan is plugged in and the app is downloaded, now open the application.
- You will be prompted to approve the new User Agreement and to make your device discoverable
Click the plus button to connect to the Lasko fan. Clicking the plus will show all available Bluetooth fans.
Click on the fan that shows on the search and your screen will look like the below and your fan is now paired. You can click the pencil button shown below to change the name of the device as you wish.
If the fan does not show up on the app, either the fan is not plugged in or Bluetooth has not been turned on in the smartphone. You will need to do both and try again.
